Women's Square is a community in Charlotte, North Carolina, and online around the world, where women find new useful acquaintances, discuss complex topics together, support each other, and conquer new heights.
We are a bi-lingual (Russian and English) community that supports Eastern European Women around the world and specifically in the Carolinas.

Meet-ups for women
Our meetings happen twice per month in-person in Charlotte, NC. Every meeting is s:
- Networking : we get to know each other and find new friends and supporters;
- discuss various topics, have mini-workshops, have guest speakers;
- always have metaphorical cards on the table, which can be drawn as a way to reflect on an important questions for oneself.

Women Square Awards Ceremony and Transformational Game Festival
In March 2024, Women Square hosted the first Award Ceremony in the Carolinas dedicated to Eastern European immigrant women. With 10 finalists and 4 winners, we celebrated a day of transformation and growth, honoring incredible women entrepreneurs who inspire our community.

Transformational Games
Katya Gorlatova, a certified facilitator, specializes in guiding participants through the Hero's Journey and Lzya transformational games. These games, intricately designed by psychologists Tatiana Muzhiitskaya and Anton Nefedov, blend the format of board games with enriching coaching and psychological exercises. They are rooted in profound psychological theories, drawing inspiration from concepts like Campbell's Hero's Journey, Jung's Archetypes, Ikigai, and more. These engaging and insightful games can be played both in-person in Charlotte and virtually from any corner of the globe, accommodating both group and individual sessions

On January 18, we will talk about how to form such a circle for yourself and who should be in it.

🍃What to expect: A cozy morning in great company, where each participant share their challenge and get feedback from the group and help to resolve their challenge.

Each meeting consists of three stages: introduction, a mini-workshop - discussion of the meeting's topic, and in conclusion, you can draw a card for personal guidance and have your photo taken as a keepsake.
At the our meetings, it's not necessary to have experience with metaphorical cards or even to draw a card for yourself at all. It's an additional, pleasant bonus. I am always ready to support you and answer any questions.
Transformational games are a set of coaching and psychological exercises packaged into a board game. During the game, you will be guided step by step though exercises, which will help you delve deeper into your ask and develop a strategy for achieving your desired outcome, find answers, or even discover the new ways to approach your challenge, It is a great way to step away from the situation and have a better perspective to solve it while playing the game.
An individual game lasts up to 2.5 hours. A group game with 3-6 people lasts up to 4.5 hours, and a game for two lasts up to 3.5 hours. It may seem like a lot of time, but time flies by unnoticed at the gaming table.
